Bloating is a condition which occurs after a heavy meal causing your stomach to look like you swallowed a ball. However, some people feel bloated all the time and the reasons for this are:
You’re not drinking enough water
Not being properly hydrated can cause numerous health problems. To properly hydrate your body, you need to drink at least 6-8 glasses of water every day. When your body is deprived of water, it starts using any liquid it can, resulting in bloating and water retention. This is why you should drink the recommended daily amount of water.
Constipation occurs when your body doesn’t have the proper amounts of fibers it needs, causing gasses to get trapped behind feces. This is why you need to consume fiber gradually – if you consume it in high amounts, you may worsen the problem. Eat whole grain bread instead of white bread and drink more smoothies to prevent constipation.
According to studies, bloating can be linked to stress. When you are stressed, your brain makes it hard for the digestive system to function properly, resulting in constipation, bloating and stomach ache. Try to relax and eliminate stress and you will resolve your digestive problems.
You eat too fast
If you eat fast, you don’t chew your food and your body begins to process it slower, causing bloating. Try eating in small bites to prevent the condition.
Eat too much carbs and you will surely be bloated. Eating low-carb food and replacing sugar and alcohol with fresh fruit and vegetables should solve the problem.
