All of us have noticed the stickers present on the fruit we are buying.
But, do you know why is the sticker there and what does it mean?
When you buy fresh fruit, especially bananas, apples, oranges and tangerines that have patches on them, pay attention to the numbers that are on them.
If they consist four numbers that begin with the numbers 3 or 4, it means that the fruit is grown on the “traditional way” and there is a big chance that they are incorporated with pesticides.
If you intend to buy a fruit with a sticker that has 5 digits the first of which is the number 8, this indicates that it is a genetically modified product.
A third case is if the fruit has five digits, the first number is 9. In this case it’s a healthy and organic products, grown without pesticides and additives. This is the best fruit that you should buy.
