A 28 year old mother died of cervical cancer, ignoring the symptoms she had. Amanda Booth had 3 children. The test that she needed to have done was a vaginal smear, which she greatly feared.
After she had terrible bleeding, she found out that she had cervical cancer. She was treated with chemotherapy, but it did very little to help. The cancer had spread too far throughout her body.
Individuals can help prevent what happened to Amanda and so many others. Never under any circumstances take your health for granted. Go to the doctor if need be and get checked out. It is always better to be safe than sorry.
Symptoms that should never be ignored for cancer of the uterus include:
- pain during urination
- vaginal pain during intercourse
- bleeding outside of the menstrual cycle
- foul smelling discharge from the vagina
- bleeding after intercourse
- any unusual bleeding
